Cookie Policy
The purpose of this Cookie Policy is to explain to anyone browsing our store which technologies we rely on, so that you can decide for yourself how cookies are handled while you are here.
What is a cookie?
Whenever you open our store, cookies are saved on the device you are using, each one with its own purpose. A cookie is nothing more than a small text file kept on a computer, phone or similar device, holding details about how you moved around the site. It may register which pages were opened, keep data you typed in, or remember choices you made — your preferred language, for example.
Why do we use cookies?
Cookies keep every part of the store working, let us tailor and improve the experience you get, and give us the measurements we need to make our service better. They also make personalised advertising possible, both here and on social platforms — showing us, for instance, how many people clicked one of our ads and then came to the store. That reading is what allows us to evaluate and fine-tune our campaigns.
Who is responsible for placing cookies on our website?
Every cookie carries a publisher that reveals where it came from. The ones we install ourselves are called first-party cookies. The ones installed by outside companies that we have authorised are known as third-party cookies.
For how long are cookies stored?
The time a cookie stays on your device varies. Session cookies live only for the visit and disappear as soon as the browser is closed. Persistent cookies stay until the expiry date attached to them and are then erased automatically the next time you return to the site that created them.
What types of cookies do we use?
Our cookies fall into three groups: strictly necessary, functional and marketing. Consent is only required for the functional and marketing ones. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt, since without them the store could not run properly or stay available for you to browse its content comfortably.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Without these cookies our services simply do not run, which is why they cannot be switched off. As a rule they are triggered by something you do — opening an account or signing in, for instance. Your browser can be set to block them or to warn you about them, but parts of the store may then stop behaving as expected. Their usual lifespan reaches one year.
Functional Cookies
This group adds extra features and personalisation to the store. Some are set by us, others by outside providers whose services run inside our pages. Turning them off may leave certain features or services unavailable. They normally last up to one year.
Marketing Cookies
Agreeing to marketing cookies means allowing cookies to be saved on your device so that content and ads can be matched to what interests you. They may come from us or from the advertising partners we work with, and are used to build a picture of your preferences and surface relevant content here and on outside platforms.
To make that content personal, what you do on the store may be combined with the personal data you have given us. That information — together with identifiers such as an encrypted email address or a device ID — may also be passed to third parties, advertising platforms among them, so that relevant ads can appear on other sites and apps. At times the data may be matched across more than one device to sharpen the personalisation.
Declining marketing cookies means none of them will be saved on your device, and what you see from us will tend to be less relevant to you. Marketing cookies usually last up to two years.

How to accept or withdraw your cookie consent
Your cookie choices can be reviewed whenever you like through the "Cookie Settings" link sitting at the foot of every page. You may accept every category or pick only the ones you want. Accepting a category means accepting all the cookies inside it. The same panel lets you change your mind or take your consent back at any moment.
If some cookies are not welcome, open "Cookie Settings" and tick or untick the categories concerned. Keep in mind that limiting cookies can affect how the store works and reduce the personalised features or advertisements available to you.
Your browser is another way to handle this: it can be configured to block or refuse cookies entirely. Nearly every modern browser includes settings for that.
Choosing "Allow All" means agreeing to every cookie category and accepting that related information may be shared with third parties, our advertising partners included. Consent for anything that is not essential can be withdrawn whenever you wish.
Third-party SDKs and data processing
A few features here depend on SDKs supplied by outside companies. Those partners may gather your IP address, identifiers tied to your device and records of how you interacted with our services.
Bear in mind that each of these companies handles your data under its own privacy policy. A full list of the SDKs in use, with links to the privacy practices behind them, is available in our Third-Party SDK Statement.
